Which systems administrator tasks can The RITS™ perform?

The RITS performs the following tasks automatically, at prescheduled intervals:

Cleans

• Cleans up and defrags the PC disks
• Provides notice when the server's disk reaches capacity and reacts by automatically freeing up memory
• In settings where a computer is used by multiple users, it wipes the slate clean and sets up the workstation for the new user. The same applies to a computer designated for a new employee.

Backs Up

• Performs a complete backup by automatically saving all file type to our independent backup, a removable hard drive, where it can be easily retrieved
• Performs "smart" backup maintenance by automatically identifying files that have not been saved to the correct location, and moving them so that they can be backed up, reducing the incidence of lost or non-backed up files.
• The RITS™ sends notice when these tasks have been performed

Installs

• Remotely installs all necessary software on new PCs

Upgrades

• Upgrades all software on all PCs on the network, including automatically identifying patches that need to be filled, which normally obstruct and hinder the installation process

Protects

• Performs spyware and virus upgrades
• Detects and reacts to unwanted processes on PC that escape spyware or virusware
• Removes unwanted and/or unregistered software from PCs
• Replaces corrupt files with non-corrupt files
• Blocks unwanted websites and streaming online broadcasts, opening up the bandwidth for its intended use.
• Automatically logs user off and/or disconnects browser, if user has opened up unrecognized websites or software

Controls

• With one click, The RITS™ affords the system administrator complete and secure remote control of all PC's on the network, without any participation on the part of the end user
• Emails system administrator to notify when software or hardware is removed from a workstation
• Identifies the status of network printers
• Identifies the status of routers
• Adjusts clocks on all PCs to summer/winter time
  

Enables

• Detects and reacts when too many processes are running at once, which is liable to slow down the productivity of the work station
• By reducing PC failures, increases MTBF-Mean Time Between Failures- of all workstations on the network

Conserves

• Performs all routine tasks that are generally executed by level I and level II system administrators
• Reduces the level III system administrator's tasks by 75%
• Turns off PCs automatically at the end of each business day, on weekends and holidays
